Carrington Riding Centre

Posted on 15th May 2020

We have spent a lot of time working out the safest way in which we can start to deliver some, albeit limited lessons.
Please be aware that this has been an extremely difficult task but we are doing our very best to provide a safe environment for both our staff and our clients.

Please be assured that we are following all The British Horse Society’s and Government Guidelines in producing our safety procedures and risk assessments.

We will only be offering half hour privates lessons.
We will only be offering lessons to riders who are able to check their own girths and stirrups (under our instructors supervision) and mount independently.
We can only offer beginner lessons to riders who have a competent ‘horsey’ adult with them and who is also happy to lead their pony.

You will need to provide your own hat/gloves/boots.

Our weight Limit of 13 stone is still in place and we hope you won’t be offended, but we may ask you to pop on our scales to double check that we have allocated you the appropriate sized horse

Can we please ask that you don’t arrive at our stables more than 10 minutes before the start of your lesson and that you do not wander around the centre.
We would also politely request for safety reasons, that you leave our centre as soon as your lesson has finished.

Unfortunately helpers cannot be invited back just yet but we will let you know as soon as it is safe for them to return.

To book, please call us anytime from tomorrow on 0161 9696 5853.
Please do not come to our centre to book as we can’t accommodate unannounced visitors at this time.
All lessons must be paid for in advance and our usual cancellation policy will apply
We will only take bookings from clients who are fit and well and are not showing any virus symptoms.
Temperature of all clients will be taken before the start of all lessons.
Usual cancellation policy is in place.
Please note that our toilets and cafe facilities are currently closed
We would like to thank you in advance for your co-operation in these difficult times
