What to Wear
Required
- Long trousers – jeans or jodhpurs
- Footwear with a heel – boots or shoes (no trainers)
- Safety helmet – PAS 015 with BS Kitemark
- Comfortable top – layer for weather
- Gloves – recommended for grip

Children can start private lessons from age 10 with parent support. Private lessons are available for children aged 10 and over.
You need suitable footwear with a small heel (not trainers) and long trousers. We have safety hats available to borrow free of charge.
Absolutely! We welcome riders of all abilities from complete beginners to experienced riders. Our instructors will tailor lessons to your level.
The maximum weight for riders is 13 stone (82.5 kg). This is for the welfare of our horses. Riders may be weighed at our discretion.
We ride in light rain and do not cancel lessons for this reason. All our arenas are all-weather with floodlighting for winter.
