Please read these important terms before booking
⚠️ Weight Limit
Maximum weight for riders: 13 stone (82.5 kg)
For the welfare of our horses and the safety of our riders, we have a strict 13 stone weight limit. Riders may be weighed at our discretion.
Our Policies
- ✓ All lessons must be booked at least 1 week in advance
- ✓ Full payment required at time of booking

- Payment methods: Cash, card, bank transfer
- ✗ Once booked, we cannot cancel, refund, or transfer your lesson
- ✗ Lessons are non-transferable to other riders
- We ride in light rain – lessons are not cancelled for weather
- ✓ If WE cancel due to extreme weather, refund or reschedule offered
No Video Cameras or Head Cams – NOT permitted at our centre.
Approved Safety Helmet Required – PAS 015 with BS Kitemark. We have hats to borrow.
Appropriate Clothing – Long trousers, boots with heel (no trainers). Remove watches/jewellery.
Arrive 15 Minutes Early – Late arrivals may not be allowed to join and will still be charged.

- Minimum age: 10 years for groups, 2+ for private (with parental support)
- Must complete registration form before first lesson
- Suitable footwear required (boots/shoes with heel)
- Horse riding is a risk sport
- Riders participate at their own risk
- Centre maintains public liability insurance
- Liability waiver signed via registration form

By riding at Carrington Riding Centre, you agree to:
- • I understand that riding has inherent risk and horses may react unpredictably.
- • I may fall off and could be injured. I accept that risk.
- • I will follow all instructions from staff and instructors.
- • I will always wear a riding hat whilst riding, leading, and grooming horses.
- • I will be honest about my abilities, experience, and medical conditions.
- • I understand the riding school may refuse my request to ride for safety reasons.
